Microcentrifuge Tubes
Microcentrifuge Tubes
Centrifuge tubes are made of medical-grade transparent polypropylene (PP) and are used across a wide range of separation and sample-preparation tasks. Under high-speed rotation, suspended particles such as organelles and biological macromolecules settle and separate from solution. The range spans 0.5 ml micro tubes up to 50 ml conical tubes, covering both small-volume sample storage and large-volume separation.
Features
- Made of medical-grade transparent polypropylene (PP) with smooth, even inner and outer walls
- Micro-centrifuge conical tubes (0.5/1.5/2ml/5 ml) withstand up to 21,000 xg; conical tubes (15 & 50 ml) withstand up to 16,000 ×g
- Sealed / threaded cap design prevents leakage and cap pop-off during heating or centrifugation.
- Frosted writing area and clear, accurate graduations for easy marking and identification
- Stable across a −80 °C to 121 °C temperature range; autoclavable
- Sterile and non-sterile options available
- DNase, RNase, pyrogen free
